I love Hysteria and think it is the best album they got, but I dont freakin hate on the new ones, Def Leppard is still awesome.

Def Leppard is may favourite band of all time and i love there new album, but to make a album like hysteria cost too much in the sence of it cost the life of steve smith and a drummers arm, this is where all the insporation came from its not a happy album. still the greatest band off all time!!

The riff sounds good the first 3-4 times you hear it and then it kinda becomes annoying, i think they lost a melodic piece of brilliance when steve died.

Personnaly i kinda like this album it rocks and def leppard of course have changed alot but i mean atleast they'Re doing new stuff and not just living backwards and trying to copy there old stuff.

And they are not trying to remake another Hysteria. That record was made over 20 years ago and it was one of their greatest. But they can't keep remaking albums like Hysteria. They have grown as people and musicians since then. I just hate it when everybody says their new stuff is not like anything off of Hysteria. They are right and Def Leppard has never intended for any of their new stuff to be like Hysteria.

BTW, Vivian is an excellent guitarist.

Mutt Lange hasn't written any songs for Def Leppard. He's simply the producer. Desmond is talented, but he has never written a song for Def Leppard.
