Autodesk Technical Evangelist Rob Cohee demonstrates iLogic Technology for Inventor 2011. Inventor iLogic technology is now fully integrated into Inventor 2011. Inventor iLogic technology dramatically simplifies rules-based design for any Inventor user even those with little or no programming experience. iLogic technology allows designers and engineers to capture and embed engineering and product knowledge directly into virtual models.

  • ilogic was in 2010 as plugin

  • @bitzi007 Right. Also only available for subscription customers. The difference now is that it is out of the box functionality and not a separate add-in.

  • @PatrickMercader I guess simple explanation would be whatever the height is multiply by 2.

  • how can I use a parameter in an equation? I really dont know how to explain but for example if I want to use the height and multiply it by a number how can I do that?

    I am using this but it doesnt work.

    If Height = 6 Then

    Teeth = Feature.IsActive("Rectangular Pattern4") = True

    d31 = Height*2

    End If

  • What's all the algabra in that window? What info does it give me?

  • awesome =-O
