I will say the girl found herself that she is totally a virtual person inside Takeshi's book.

I do not know what others think about. What I got from this story is : We all are living in a simple world that a kid can understand it, but we made ourselves much more complicated.

I think she's a real person and everytime she's dreaming about Takeshi, she is actually being pulled into Takeshi's dream instead. Something like a futuristic pulling, since Takeshi wasn't even born yet when she started "dreaming" about him.

How would you feel when you get pulled into someone's dream?
