From connectedtraveler.com: The Kecak Dance, a mashup of a Hindu Ramayana story and a trance dance once performed at exorcisms, was created in the 1930s by a German artist and Indonesian dancer Wayan Limbak. Also called the Monkey Dance, a circle of 100 men chant like macaques. It is performed daily at the Uluwatu Temple in Bali.

  • @aryowailangitoyo97 Thank you. I have seen this performance perhaps five times over 20 years and never tire of it. I was there the night a storm struck and fire blew into the audience. Nobody hurt, but it added to the excitement.
