Building contractor who receive blunt trauma resulting in cataract, iris dialysis and traumatic mydriasis. Sequential surgeries with cataract extraction and suturing of iris dialysis, followed by pupillary cerclage. Not an ideal cosmetic result but the patient still very happy.

  • Very good indeed,But I could not get that how the initial 10-0 prolene was introduced in the 27g needle ,

  • Take a 10/0 Prolene and remove the suture needle. The suture itself is quite stiff, and fairly easy to introduce into the lumen of a 27 G cannula.
