@MPLSTORM if ford makes less reliable trucks then why is it when you see a truck built before 1980 it either has a blue oval or the word ford written across the front of the hood, i dont see very many d100;s or 1970's model chevys runnin around, but i see fords driven every day and i dont mean pristine collectors items i mean real trucks for real men hauling so much crap dodges new frame crumples just looking at it

the only complaint i have with ford trucks is their manual transmissions when they used to offer them on the V8 models. the clutch engagement point was too high in the pedal travel and the shifter felt notchy and tractor-like, but the one i drove was a very solid and otherwise outstanding truck, ford makes some very high quality trucks, but im still a chevy fan myself. as long as its american, its good to me

@bmwrocks325 Pushrods aren't bad considering how far GM has gone with it ( Real performing engines and fuel efficent. Am not talking about hybrid efficent but average).

Ford doesn't use push rods in their engine like dodge and chevy, and the shocks outside the frame made it able to corner fast :D I love my ford! best part is i get 800+kms a tank on the highway :D
