Its the chord progression. A lot of artists use it. Have you ever seen the rain by CCR, Jim Croce used it alot, Sade's song By Your Side uses it etc... It sets a soothing mood.

This song played on the PA system in an arena. I was watching the event on TV and I can only hear the melody and the chords, and I was immediately drawn to it. Don't care much for the lyrics, but this song is so melodious and pleasing to the ear. Country music seems to be one of the last genres of contemp pop music that still values melody and harmony-driven songs.
I which it was longer, and a key change after the middle stanza (after I am unstoppable)..would have kicked it up a notch
