WOW. I am appalled by the people my age who live in this city. The disrespect in this video is almost unbelievable. I WANTED to be for this movement, but seeing the kind of people who are involved makes me sick. This goes deeper than "homeless people occupying a park", this is a cultural problem where young people can't comprehend ever having to work to earn a living. The City Council has been so accommodating... at this point, what more do the occupants want? Conflict, it would seem...

@777darron Public land belongs to everybody, not just one protest group. No single group should have the special privilege to protest however, wherever, and for how ever long they want. That's bullshit, these assholes need to go so that the rest of the hard-working citizens of Calgary can have the park back for their families and their dogs.

for the record, not all people my age are lazy unemployed arrogant jerks who expect everything to be handed to them Im 19 and i work my ass off to support myself and expect no one to give me everything I want. Seeing this video I cant even take this protest seriously its a bunch of slackers squatting in a park because they have nthing better to do on the weekends. who was the guy in this video becuase if I was him I would be right pissed too having to listen to that all the time from my house.

@avro206 Corp. greed and power is in direct conflict us when it is allowed to influence our government then our laws. We have a charter of rights and freedoms combined with public space that allows ALL people to express their thoughts and speak directly to power without fear. Public land is created to express our charter. If your afraid and you don t understand, talk to people and educate yourself. I love Canada and she needs protection from fearfull, ignorant people.
