Launch of Solar Schools at Pontlottyn Pri

United Welsh Housing Association has a superb partnership with Caerphilly County Borough Council Eco Schools team and financial support from Heads of the Valleys Programme.

12 schools ave recieved support install solar pv systems to:

reduce th carbon footprint of the schools
be a focus for new learning opportunties around carbon change
support pupils and their families to help make a low carbon living step

On 28th Jan 2010 the Housing and Regeneration Minister, Jocelyn Davies, formally opened the Solar Schools programme at Pontlottyn Primary School
