Now there are those who praise without Spirit, I am no fool to this notion but, grouping the whole lot together as no positive effect for change either. Respect their praise for what it is, as you would want yours respected. Weather it is "Hype" or silent. Either way concentrate more on your walk and praise more and you probably wouldn't mind so much about others. Be positive and loving to your fellow Christ fam, not criticizing and condescending. This is embedded in us in our culture we as African decent, have always celebrated this way. Our way of praise was taken away from us and beaten out of us because it was considered heathen behavior by those who have always seen our people as less than. I guarantee if no such tragedy as slavery had taken place we would ALL still praise like this. We praise the Most High this way to celebrate His life and the life he's given us. We don't go to service to mourn like the catholics still do.

I find it rather ironic @bedsongstress that you don't condone someone else praise because "HE, don't want that hype"... How do you know what HE want's? Do not lose face with the Father judging others glory and worship in HIM. I doubt you know ANY of these people or THEIR walk with the Most High. You know not weather any of them have set foot in a club the night before and, so what if they did? THEY have to address it with HIM. Besides our peoples history shows this is how WE praise.

@bedsongstress ..."goin hard" as you so glibly put it is indeed NOT the only way to worship. IN SPIRIT & IN TRUTH IS THE ONLY WAY TO WORSHIP GOD. However you are led by GOD to worship GOD, just do it! I for one am more reserved but still enjoy FREEdom of expression!

Yes, there are many who act out carnally who are NOT pleasing in HIS sight.

@kiacarter26...so r u insinuating that I club nd that im a devil worshiper b/c I stated that "krumpin" and "pop locking" in church is not a form of praise? Or that some of those who shout or get delivered does so only on Sundays. I need to understand the minds of those who feel that going hard on Sundays outweighs the worldly and unrighteous things u do thru out the rest of the week. Yes David danced till he was completely naked for God, but today the essence isnt real, its taught.
