Demi's mom: Come on honey, lets go!
Demi: okay, okay, mommy, im comming.
Demi's mom: (get's in the car and starts the engine)
Demi: (gets in the back seat and puts on her seat belt) Ooo i cant wait to go to the beach today mommy!! It'll be so fun!
Demi's mom: (laughs) yeah, i can't wait either!
(At the beach)
demi's mom: (stops the car and puts it in park) okay we are here!
demi: YAYYYY! (gets out of the car and runs as fast as she can to the water before her mom could even get out of the car)
demi's mom: demi slow down! don't get too excited! (watches as her little daughter runs to the water and thinks to herself: someday i wont have to take her anywhere anymore, because she'll be all grown up. she finally reaches where demi is and lays down a blanket for her to sit on while she watches demi play in the water.)
demi: (walks up to her mom with a big smile on her face) mommy?
demi's mom: yes honey?
demi: can i.....maybe...sorta....go...swim? please? (gives her mom a puppy dog face.)
demi's mom: (smiles) sure. but don't go too far out. you know you can't swim that good yet.
demi: (smiles big) I wont! thanks mommy! (runs out to the water and jumps in, splashing around, having a good time.)
demi's mom: (looks at her daughter one last time and gets out a book from her purse and starts to read it, taking her eyes off demi)
demi: (Goes under water and starts to swim, not paying attention to how far out she is going. she soon comes up for air, ad quickly goes under again. going further and further out. pretty soon she comes up for air again. this time turning around to see her mom really far away. she then starts to swim back over to her mom but gets hit by a wave, catching her off guard and pulling her under. she struggles to get to the surface and barely makes it to the top. being hit by big waves, just causing her to go under again. at this time her arms where getting tierd from swimming to the top. she was almost out of breath. she was terrified. then all of a sudden, she saw two arms come to the side of her, picking her up and to the top of the surface.)
lifeguard: (starts swimming back to shore, with demi on his shoulder) are you okay?
demi: (coughing from all the water she had swallowed) ye-ye-yes... ( she could barely see anything. everything was going in slow motion. her eyes where blury and her head felt so heavy. she could barely hear anything from the water in her ears.)
lifeguard: (reaches teh beach, and sets demi down on the sand, with her mother rushing up to see if shes alright.)
demi's mom: DEMI! DEMI! OH THANK GOD YOU ARE ALRIGHT! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO TOO FAR!?!? YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK!
lifeguard: Shes going to be okay mam, don't worry. (he quickly go's to the towel room and gets demi a towel and brings it back.) here you go. (he wraps it around her shoulders) there. (looks at her mom) do you need anything else?
demi's mom: No...thank you though. you saved her.
lifeguard: anytime mam. (he leaves and go's back to his chair)
demi: (looks down, with a frown on her face) mommy....im sorry....
demi's mom: (feels bad that she said that) oh honey its okay. im just glad that your okay. you could have died.
demi: (looks down) yeah...
