@BizerkPixel he was boosting while using his brake to navigate through the turn and then the boost kicked in again after he released his brake.

@Frostbeule I know this is 'a bit' too late, but, if I may ask: why didn't he get bumped by both blue AND green at the start? I know I used to do that on the oval course, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

@ATDOINFERNO he reaches the top speed faster if he waits for the blue falcon to bump him a second time rather than going for the wild goose.
