On January 2nd 2006 a terrible disaster took the lives of 12 men inside the Sago Mine in Upshur County, West Virginia. 400 miles away, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, I had a terribled burden for the families. On January 18th 2006, while driving down the road, the Lord gave me this song "Mine for a Mansion". A few months later, I was humbled to sing the song at Sago Baptist Church and meet some of the best people in the world. That meeting created friendships that will last a lifetime. I got to ring the bell at the church that Sunday morning...the same bell rang when it was thought the miners were alive...a bell heard around the world via news media. The song has been recognized by West Virginia Governor and in several state archives, including the Upshur Co. Historical Society. As time permits I will update this section to share more. With love and prayers to each one, I present "Mine for a Mansion". ---- More to come.
Hey what year was your guitar built? Great song by the way!
