Palestine History - Alan Hart with Ilan Pappe (part1)

Professor Ilan Pappe was born in Israel (1954). He was a professor of
political science at Haifa University from 1984 to 1997. He is considered
as one of the "new historians" who take a truthful view of Israel's hisory.
After studying both Israel's diplomatic records( declassified in 1978 ) &
military records ( declassified in 1998 ), he defends the Palestian's narrative and came to the conclusion that the indenpendence of Israel in 1948 was preceded by the planning of cleansing of the palestians. The head planner was David Ben Gurion which became Israel's first prime minister.

He wrote "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine" and was forced to leave Israel
after death threats were made against his children. He now lives in England.
