The Waffer 3 is a dry cell (its stock water comes from the 15Lt Tank) and can bubble its gas and water back to the tank to recycle the water and the gas exits out the top .. the results look great for a change over from and old Cng gas heater to hydrogen ( changes to the jets need to be made) the flame hight is controled by the pwm .. its giving great results and ideas ..still for now its just a hobby

  • Do you have any tips on how to get rid of white sludge insulating the cell. Getting zero current after a few hours operation. Do you make bottom of your reseviour lower than cell itself to keep sludge out of cell?

  • there is no chlorine .. i know this becuase i have it running and tomorrow i will have a finished h gas heater for my lounge .. so what more can i say but .. try it ... there is somebody that has run boats cars and more on this system .. he used another metal with in the mix that also made electrical power while produce hugh amounts of hydrogen gas .. allthough his plates or cylinders didnt last as long as this system i have shown ..

  • But I used only stainless steel though. Perhaps the aluminum reacts with the oxygen and builds Al2O3 on the plates? But what with the chlorine?

  • Sorry, It doesn't make sense to me.. I have tried with tablesalt in electrolysis, and it really smelled chlorinegas! And it was as reactive as HHO with lye. So If you could please explain how you manage to get only hydrogen from electrolosys in saltwater..!

  • You and I dont need too, because the cell only makes hydrogen , look at the answer i gave to ChrisPCrunchy .. take your time and have a go ..

  • Can I ask you how you separate the gasses?

  • Yes it is +al (4 neutral-al plates) and a s/s - there is 4 sets (16 plates total) and with full production about 40Ltrs of gas every 4 mins (a sludge of non conductive oxide mud is formed ) . Im looking at making a hydride storage system for the h gas, there is plenty of ideas and looks to be more home workshop tests , to find the correct mix of metals to fill a tank and then a heating system ,to release the hydrogen from the hydride tanks hmmm lots to do and test, lucky its just a hobby ah?,lol

  • Oh is this the same as the other set up with the Aluminium then?

  • There is NO Chlorine produced Chris only Hydrogen not even oxygen is present in this setup

  • Dont use salt water it generates chlorine gas. Very bad for lung tissue. If you must use salt water do so outdoors or vent gas from cell and burning gas exhaust to outside air.
