So let me get this straight. Dry beans are cheap? And if I do work myself like roasting a chicken instead of the store doing it for me... it'll be cheaper? Holy crap!!!

what it doesn't say is that you are using more fuel to cook these things. You are also using up time which yoou could be using earning more money.

Maybe the underclass are right. It is cheaper to live on a diet of soda pop, potato chips, pretzels and candy bars. That way you need never do any cooking. You will save money. And no dishes to wash either.

I dont want to be rude, but... Who is buying baked chicken??? I think the same one who can not cook... o.O .... I live in students hostel and food cost me less whe i go eat to cantine than buying my own groceries and cook it in the kitchen.
