@stupogo0 Well, if they did that, it'd be more pleasing for the VIEWERS, but not the animator's themselves. Sure, did it look like an easy way out of a second season? Yes. But think. Right after Season 2 ended they showed a teaser for Disappearance. It was basically their way of saying "Congratulations at making it this far, now Disappearance will make so much more sense." The viewers were bored just like Nagato was. They were fed up just like Nagato was. See the connection? It's a great idea.

@Jl33soawesome Most of that was correct, but it was actually the original author Nagaru Tanigawa's idea. This anime was based off of a series of books, which there are tons of out now, 11 I think, so the studio who produced this anime should make more seasons.

Endless Eight was hell to watch, but if you consider it, it was a brilliant idea.
The only character that knew the time loop existed was Yuki. Kyon also makes references to how "she looks bored." In Disappearance, Yuki alters the world because of an overload of emotions, or in other words, because she was "fed up."
Endless Eight was the animator's way of showing you what she had to deal with, although to a much lesser extent. Get it?
