Very nice Jim. It sounds like you are working on some wonderful projects. The first time I looked at this video and saw that console, I knew what it was. I had not heard it (or the organ)had survived. Really made me happy to see it. Thanks you for restoring it and keeping it playing.

We also have the second largest Barton produced, a 4 manual 30 rank from the state fairgrounds at Dallas Tx. I am currently expanding the organ for this consol. George Buck is restoring the consol for us and it will be controled with a "opus 2" system like the little one. Configured as original.

Hey Jim - OK, the Paramount in Hamilton. The only other Barton console (and organ) that looks like this one came out of the Paramount in Newport News, Va. These two organs were the last ones Barton built before going out of business. When I played the Newport News "sister", it had been re-installed in the now demolished Virginia Theater in Alexandria, Virginia. It's now part of Phil Maloof's organ collection. I always wondered where the Newport News Paramount "sister" organ went.

I love seeing people get to try and instrument. I would love the opportunity to try a harp. The joy these women exhibit is contagious...David

By the way, after I heard this video, I took my Wurlitzer pipe organ out back and set it on fire ....
At the Acorn we allow SUPERVISED access to the organ to anyone with keyboard experience. It came from the Paramount Theater in Hamilton, Oh. The ladies really enjoyed it. Jim - organ restorer
