We have two spots coming up today on RareTVSpots! Both are for the 1998 film, Small Soldiers. The film is probably most well known for being Phil Hartman's final film performance. This spot is also an early spot, as it was one of the "not yet rated" spots. Enjoy, and stay tuned for the "testimonial" Small Soldiers spot!
@Aquaslasher
duh... ever heard of deleted scenes?
Some of those scenes animation data was later used in other commercials, like the burger king one.

@Shock0ps
The upbeat music, the cheasy narrator, and all of the quotes are replaced with lame dubs. Yet the movie had people getting attacked, houses getting blown up, and a kid gets shot with a nailgun.

I hate how cutsie and happy the commercial is, but that the actual movie is violent and edgy. So THIS is why it didnt do well in theaters...

I hate it when neat-looking parts are left out of the movie.
Where was it the Commandos were running among those people's legs?
And why were those grappling guns not used?
Thanks a bunch for posting this.
