@Sasori327 You're missing my point. It's scrawny compared to the truck. It's not big enough and not built right for what I'd need out of a vehicle right now. That's why I'd take the truck.

@Sasori327 Where in any of those posts did I explicitly say I hated Eclipses? I love the first- and second-gens, save for the crankwalk that the 2Gs are notorious for. Before I came to this video, I was browsing other old Mitsubishi ads, because I like old Mitsubishis. I saw this ad, called it out for not making as much sense as it could have, and went about my day just fine. But no, here you come fucking white-knighting for the Eclipse like I did something on par with slapping your mother.

@Sasori327 That's an interesting interpretation, considering the the pitch of the ad was that the Eclipse had so much power that it could could magically give a bit of it to the truck. Basically, it's saying the Eclipse is a really powerful car... by '90s standards, I suppose.
Personally, I'd take a truck, because I'd need it to do stuff a scrawny little import like that couldn't handle. Function first and foremost.
