Best scene in the movie. Pure movie magic that works even alone without any context from the rest of the movie.

Aside: and as others have pointed out, the Doll in a Music Box would be an ingenious work of art. Unlikely, but perhaps possible. ....The Dick Van Dyke puppet character, however, would've been an achievement in the field of artificial intelligence on such a level as to put anything coming out of Skynet to shame.

Watched this many times as a child, teenager and now with my kids and will still watch it and watch it again and again. Lets me escape to my child hood for that little while...
