Modeling tutorial in Maya - RB6 F1 car - 03 the front rim 01

In this video I start to model the front rim of the RB6.... I use the same method as I used in my "rim" tutorial... I don't stick exactly to the reference image (wich is a wireframe of a game model) because it has 11 spokes and doesn't look exactly like the rim (10 spokes) that you see when look at some photos of the RB6 :-)

At 10:10, when I try to bridge the two edges, Maya (2012 Student Version) comes up with an error of:

//Error: Doesn't work with multiple objects selected.

My setting are exactly the same as yours, did I do something wrong?

make sure you that you "combine" the two objects before using the "bridge" tool :-)

At 8.46 when you combine the two objects together, my two objects disappear from all the views, I click on View > Look at selection but it only shows the selection tool (scale, move, rotate), any help?

thanks for the vid, v.helpful. I have a problem however. when i delete the faces to bridge the spoke you seem to get a double edge around the deleted faces with double vertices. i only get a single edge. why is this?
