  • Do they have Sirens to get througth traffic or?

  • This question is best directed to the highways agency however i do not think they have sirens or have the authority to break speed limits etc. The highways agency should be able to answer your question if you email them.

  • Not as well disciplined as the Highway Patrols run by NEXCO of Japan....

  • I think they should fir blue lights, to be turned on at incidents. I came accross an incident the other day - a HA vehicle was stationary in lane 3, a car had hit the central reservation. There were no matrix signs warning of it, it was a very dangerous situation. Blue lights would, imo, made the scene much much safer. Ridiculous you're finding them doing the same job as the police but they have to use vastly inferior warning. People are going to die needlessly because of this, at some stage.

  • personally I don't think that HATO's are a waste of money because them doing the more minor jobs on the motorway mean that the police and other emergency services can get on with the more major things, and in terms of an accident the police can release a scene and get back on the road faster if the HATO's clear up afterwards. still, great video thanks for uploading.

  • lol... so... walk out into other lanes when coned off do they ?? ( for those watching carefully ;) lol,,,,, Good demo guys. I appreciate it`s a demonstration ,,, BUT --- Safety discrepencies.- More learning/ training needed. ;)

  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. At the show, the team gave an educational demonstration that was enjoyed by the majority of people there.

  • Cool!

  • Nice video!
