@neechee5150 im not taking anything away from bonnie she is the originator..but alisons version made me love this song! i didnt love it before...i liked it...but she made me love it...just like mariah singing without you...and i saw the live version before i heard this one...which i prefer the live version. she just made it sound so much more soulful in my opinion. i guess its a matter of taste...i would prefer to hear this just stripped with a piano and alison singing it.

@reeeltalk Not even close. Bonnie's performance is so honest and done without any studio magic. Everyone who covers this tune will always be compared to Bonnie becuase Bonnie's performance and connection with this song is something that rarely happens in the music business nowdays. Other than a few small edits to elimiate parts where Bonnie actually broke down sobing, what you year when you hear Bonnie sing this song is exactly what she sang. Bonnie sang this when music came before money
