Hmm. Where did you get the black cover on the touch pad? ive had my acer for quiet a bit now, and the touchpad is starting to fade a bit.

hi there, how u doin? i just wana know coz im plannin to get an acer aspire one, the linux os....if i would be able to download the yahoo messenger there? or it would be very hard or impossible to do that? should i get the xp os instead? and i get that, do i have to install an antivirus software on it? unlike on linux? hope to hear from u soon. more power

I believe the messenger client aspire one came with works with yahoo accounts, so there is no need to install yahoo messenger.installing windows on this thing is a pain, unless you want to have XP really bad, you can add another 1 gb ram for it.

just found another vid showing windows on Acer One booting in somewhere around a minute. That way we can get a better comparison between machines. (and OS-es perhaps)
