This is a high definition tutorial using crochet thread yarn to create an overlay over a Christmas ball. You can use Plastic or Glass Balls. The tutorial is featuring 3.5" Diameter Balls but the project can be changed on the last rotation to suit the size ball you are going to use. I used the Bernat Handi Crafter Crochet Thread called Adrift and a 2.5MM Crochet Hook. Follow along. You can find more crochet inspiration at http://www.AllFreeCrochet.com Be sure to look at their Christmas Selection of patterns.
@curecidp I bought my hook through Curtzy Crochet Hooks. It was a set of different hooks sizes that were unusual as they have a whole gammit of sizes in their kits. You can substitute 2.25 mm. The size I said in the video is correct.

Hi there, I followed the tutorial this morning and made it. I didn't have any decorations out just yet, but I did have one of those potporri globes that you put the stick reeds into. So when I got it done, I put it on that and WOW! It is pure (D) beautiful!. It has given me new ideas for Christmas presents too. How good is that?! Thank You so very much. Will be on the lookout for more of your beauties to change up the decor in my home. LOL

Hi!
LOVE the new video's for Christmas! Would you please re-check the size of the needle you are using in this video? I can't seem to find a 2.5MM crochet hook here in the US. And can't find what it would convert to. The closest I can find is a 2.25MM steel hook. Thanks very much, and please keep the videos coming! You do such beautiful work!
