With the EAGLE IV MOWAG is on the way to set another standard in the domain of armoured wheeled vehicles in the weight class up to 8.5 tons. It is suitable as reconnaissance, communications, patrol and observation vehicle in missions abroad and in the home country.




The EAGLE IV is based on the advanced MOWAG DURO III chassis technology with its patented roll stabilizer and the proven DeDion-type axle system. It is distinguished through a very high payload versus a low GVW, with a high ballistic and mine protection level as well as exceptional mobility both on- and off-road. The high logistic commonality with the DURO allow to optimize life cycle cost.




The EAGLE IV provides protection against ballistic weapons and mines in accordance with the international standards. It can be equipped with NBC overpressure system, Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS), winch, mission related cargo module, EURO IV engine, and other optional equipment.
