Hi Burt, I really enjoyed this video. I hiked a very small portion of the Appalachian Trail when I was in high school. I really enjoyed it, and would love to hike again. And even better, it'd be great to operate from the trail. :) I'm a fairly new Ham, having just got my license in March 2010.
Thanks for the video. Really enjoyed it. 73 de KD8NJZ - Craig

Imagine finding this viedo after reading you book?! for those who have not read it, his book: three Hundred Zeroes" is a very good read and it might just make a person think about their priorities. when I frist began that read, I did NOT know that you are a ham and that your brought along a QRP rig. I've done a lot of long range backpacking in the past and QRP was part of it, so this made your book even more delightful for me.

Thanks for posting this wonderful video of the Boxboro presentation Burt! I didn't even know it was there. If folks enjoyed this, they might want to check out the book, THREE HUNDRED ZEROES, which is the full length story of the hike in 2007/2008. See Amazon.com for more info.
If you hike the trail with your radio, let me know and I'll make sure it is on my blog, and I will look for you...Dennis, K1YPP

I thought I had emailed you the link in September? Viewers buy the book, it is one of the best.
