If the camera responds to the light of the monitor in the background then why dont you shut the screen off rather than having thet lamp stuck in your face. 73's!!!

I learn later to turn the monitor's brightness all the way down, then it does cause the camera to react. Live and learn! Randy

hi is it possable to work states with a Technician Class License or will i need a HF Rig and a General Class License?

Yes, I believe the Techs can work 10 meters. But, 10 meters is not open very often during our low point in the sun spot cycle. Randy
