The bio-fuel, ethanol, is generating a revolution in renewable energy that could help reduce the world's thirst for oil. In Brazil, the production of ethanol from sugarcane is booming, but what is not clear is the impact it is having on the industry's sugarcane cutters.

Great job by the Brazil and I think Brazil should import it's sugar based ethanol fuel to the world including the United States where ethanol is made by corn which is 30% more expensive than sugar based ethanol fuel due to corn starch conversion into ethanol

  • GTIBully .

Hat's off to the Brazil. They can save the cutters jobs by using more efficient ways to burn the begass like gasification. Begass can be made into pellets to fuel a gasifier and power the distilation boilers. A gasification burn makes virtually no polution. Nothing wasted and no jobs lost. To everything there is a solution. See how I use ethanol.
