**Thanks everyone for kind and thoughtful comments. I am glad that we could share Aakyra with people. She was a blessing to our family and we miss her. The music for this video was flagged as copyrighted and taken off. I had used a version of You are my Sunshine and Tears in Heaven. I am going to try to find some other music to put on the video and upload it again**
Aakyra Rena Miranda June 4, 2007-October 25, 2007. I am proud to call her my niece. She was a fighter and a little diva. You will be missed.
Aakyra passed away from a combination of things. She had some genetic problems, pulmonary hypertension, underdeveloped lungs. She couldn't breath on her own. There's only so much a little body can take, but she was strong.

I don't know what it is like to loose a baby because I am only 15, but I was born at 25 weeks in gestation at 1/2lb. I was born with BPD (Bronco Pulminary Displacia), A rare lung disease. My lungs are filled with scar tissue from the venalator I was on. I had a feeding tube when I was 7 and got it taken out when I was 13. I almost died countless times when was in the NICU. I don't know if my story helps, but I hope it does. good bye! <3

my bestfriend had the same thing. we were best friends since nursery. he wasn't allowed to go out and play at play time, because he had to stay in and rest or sleep. but i remember, our first time it snowed was in primary3, he got to come out with me and we built a snowman.. everyday i'd go to his, or he'd go to mine, and i remember,.. building bob the building buns with him. and the saddest thing was, my mummy coming to me and saying Timothy died last night in his sleep, by not breathing.
