Started happening randomly the other day after a little thrashing.
Check all air/vacuum hoses. Replaced throttle position sensor, idle control valve (cleaned it aswell) and repaired a kinked idle control valve hose... still the same. seems to be getting worse? Black smoke comes out when it drops revs and struggles. Never stalls.

Started to get worse and worse and stalled a few times when idling.
Got engine ECU read and both o2 sensors were bad. Replaced em and it's running sweeter than I first got the car.
@GL0D I deleted the PCV mate. Ran fine for a few hundered miles but then this happened. might try reinstalling it and double checking hose fittings for any leaks. already tried spraying carb cleaner nearly everywhere to check. but will do again this saturday

Hi dude, Take off your PCV and check it. (next to ICV). Very common to get full of oil sludge and block up. I did everthing to mine to sort the idle problem and it turned out to be this. Need to change two of the hoses while your there too. Simple job. Took me 1 hour. New part cost £50 from Eurocarparts but £55 from dealer. Hoses from dealer only. Look up the DIY on Dougs Domain.
