  • excellent video :D. Can't help but wonder- do you play the bamboo flute part?

Also, to what extent do I need an open holed flute to do these extended techniques? I have a yamahah 311 and I really cannot afford a new flute...

  • You can do a lot with a closed hole flute. But do save up for an open hole model! $1,000 gets a LOT of flute these days. Try an Eastman flute.

  • I DID IT!!! I'm so excited :D

  • i like the bamboo flute sound.

  • Really great video. I didn't know about multiphonics until today, but now I think I have a lot of experimenting to do :)

  • "The Lips are Last" would be a perfect title for most anything, from a musical piece to a novel.

I found this video helpful, and I'm glad you included examples of a multiphonic. Without it, I wouldn't have known what one sounded like.

  • wonderful vid!
