Overseer - Cinematic Edition - Part 9

Sonny gave Tex the break he needed, and now it's time to expand on Sonny's work. Tex has to break into a Slade's hideout and steal nearly everything in sight -- even though Slade is actually THERE at the time.

I hated that part of the game. Frustrating isn't the word. I'd carefully put things back where I found them, hide myself away, and still see Slade shooting me. Ugh.

Richard Norton fills Slade with menace and confidence and the particular sensation that he really enjoys his job, but he differs from Pandora's Jackson Cross in that at no time does Slade give you the impression that he's psychotic. He's just extremely efficient.

We also get to see Tex and Chelsee FINALLY get to the restaurant, and Tex's arrival at Law and Order, where we meet Hapless Harry the security guard. You'll see why I call him Hapless Harry in this clip. You hope the guy just gets fired and not killed. Tex'll screw him over again later in the game, but there's no real movie clips of that, so enjoy Harry while ya can.

Last, of course, is Tex's big mistake. How is he gonna get out of THAT predicament? Once again, there's no real movie clip for that, but I'll figure it out as I go.

My heart was beating so HARD when I played that level where I had to sneak through Slade's place, and then getting killed gave me a jolt. Good times!
