Hello, is it ok to use watercolour paper instead of rice paper etc, thank you for your time...

@Salfordian35 That is only my opinion.

I know this is a late reply on your video, but in your opinion what is a better style of brush to use to get a more realistic bamboo look ? ( flat head, or maybe a round type ) . Thank you for all of your videos by the way :)

@mrdefkon1 Choice of brush is a very personal matter. A hard, broad, flat brush is easier to control and produce solid stroke. A round soft brush is less controllable for beginner, but could render more delicate and flexible shape. It depends on your skill, experience and personality. There is no right no wrong. Maybe a mixture of brushes. Do I make sense?

Yes that makes sense. I am going to buy and pack of 25 brushes all of which are different in angles and things, and then try them all out on the bamboo art to see which will be the most effective. Thank you so much. God bless

@mrdefkon1 25 brushes. That's way too many. The more we have things, the less we value them. Buy less, please. Good for your skill, good for your wallet, good for the planet.
