  • what's the name of the song played at 1:06 to 1:28? it's so catchy!

  • @Martineibye We have an audio technician on staff who creates our audio tracks. His primary source for the music is from a subscription we have with FirstCom. Check out the FirstCom web site for more details. Unfortunately we do not maintain a music list for each video.

  • @cassiopeiaproject do these six videos focus on special relativity?

if so do you have a separate set of videos that focuses on general relativity? thanks!

  • @infernoj2 Chapters 5 & 6 of the Relativity series focus on General Relativity.

  • wats the difference in general relativity and special realtivity?

  • Special relativity only deals with the laws of physics in inertial frames of reference. General Relativity includes ALL frames of reference.

  • these videos are awesome. thanks for the share!

  • Once again, a really well scripted and delivered explanation of complex concepts.

Again though, the first two minutes is simply irrelevant. Once you start getting to the crux of the matter, it's gold, really informative. I would personally prefer less reverb and more compression on the voice over to make it as clear as possible and more intimate. The realities discussed are mind-blowing enough, we don't need to much around it to distract from the message.

    Still enjoyed it though.

  • @apricimo Technically, quantum physics is almost incompatible with relativity, Whilst relativity covers the very big and very fast, it doesn't cover the subatomic world too well.

Einstein didn't like quantum entanglement/wave function ect.

This is where string theory comes in. Whilst there is a lack of proof around string theory, it neatly wraps everything together.

  • How does relativity relate to quantum particles?

  • I wanna play baseball on a truck too!!!

  • If the pitcher on the back of the truck threw the ball at 50 miles per hour and the truck was moving at 50 miles per hour, how would the pitcher, catcher, and coach perceive the ball moving and how would the outside observer perceive it.

  • @cassiopeiaproject thanks! these videos are really helpful with my physics course, and they are very interesting!

  • At 500,000 mph for 4.6 billion years (how long the earth has been around), according to time dilation, we are 1,279 years behind the rest of the universe! So in 1969 those space travelors were in the future! WOW
