Srixon's new Z-RW and the "pentagonal" Yonex Nanospeed-i. Driver reviews.
Anything goes now in the driver head world from classic rounded looks to distinctly contemporary shapes. One of each goes under the Gear Vault microscope this week in the form of Srixon's Z-RW and Yonex's Nanospeed i. Both heads are 460cc but there the similarities end, for while the Srixon is very much in the classic camp -- certainly over the ball -- the Yonex boasts a composite design, a pentagonal shape and two distinctive fixed weights in the sole.
We put both models to the test as soon as we got our hands on them.
Log onto the Gear Vault again in a fortnight's time to see another brand new piece of kit in action, and look out for an "Outtakes Special" just before Christmas (no, things don't always got to plan!) for a little light-hearted jollity in the season of goodwill.
Is it me,or does the Yonex look like the hood/bonnet of a 76 camero?
