CAPSULE ENDOSCOPY

A 32 year male presented to our clinic with chronic iron deficiency anemia. Fecal occult blood was positive. Upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy were normal. Capsule endoscopy revealed multiple jejunal and ileal ulcers with multiple sites of bleeding. A diagnosis of Crohn's disease was entertained and he was treated with mesalamine, thalidomide and parenteral iron therapy.

Does anybody knows, how I could export the recordings of the pillcam to a video file? I've successfully downloaded the RAPID reader software, but couldn't find any options for exporting.

No, I have never had that organ removed. I started having issues with too much bile because I developed ulcers from drinking too much soda's and being exposed to bacteria in my job at the airport I worked at. I had lost tons of weight and could not go through the day without taking a nap because I had so many infections. So I made the major change and stopped drinking soda and went to vitamins and foot detox's before I could begin healing. Gallbladders usually stop you from digesting grease.

Have you had your gallbladder removed? I noticed since mine is removed I dont hold food in for long and its yellow down there. Not trying to be gross, just wondering if thats normal. I also lost a lot of wieght after surgery 2 years ago. Im glad im thinner though.

The color man. Most of bile in your gut is yellow and if you have a lot you will have the shits all time. Have a look at the guy in the beginning he has lost so much weight because he is going way too often. I have leaved with this stuff in my life but thank god it gone. Did natural treatments and changing eating habits stopped it all.

What gives you the idea that this guy has alot of bile ?. The worst thing to cure the ulcers and bleeding spots is not surgery. Surgery is the last thing you want to do for this. the best treatment is mesalamine and thalidomide. These will treat the ulcers and bleeding spots. Until the bleeding stops they will give him iron therapy pills to prevent anemia until there is no more blood loss.

As much bile as this guy has I bet his butt is a bit sore from wiping as he will have tons of diarrhea. I best thing to cure his problem is surgery or start doing some herbal treatments and get some exercise and cut off all soda and caffeine intake.
