@jagallahue Jag, that's a fine example of capitalism at its worst! "House flippers" started this principle some time ago during the housing boom. I should know as I bought one from a "professional" house flipping crook, who also happens to be the alderman of my county. I'm no fan of big government, but stronger building codes and better infomed home buyers should end this sh*t once and for all. I learned my lesson the hard way. Cheers.

Are you kidding---a reputable company installing siding directly over green guard with no Tyvek!!! The Vinyl Siding Institute clearly states that vinyl siding HAS NEVER BEEN a moisture barrier. You must install some sort of protective water barrier between the insulation and the siding as the green guard acts like a sponge, Great job guys!!
