  • @shogunblade Or that his brother Thomas composed Finding Nemo and Wall-E? O: I think it's amazing! They each have their own style. Thomas goes for recreating the atmosphere through music, Randy composes generally light-hearted themes inspired by gesture, and David Newman focuses on the "personality" and emotion of the situation. He was a perfect choice for the Brave Little Toaster. What could have been a really quirky score turned out to be one of the most emotional scores ever!! :D

  • Does anyone else find it a little cool, I guess you could say, that David Newman composed this, and his cousin is Randy Newman, who composed another movie about talking inanimate objects in "Toy Story"? Or is this just serendipity?
