You should have done this the easy way;

Get a suicidal party to nuke his Blademaster;

Then resurrect Kael and get 2 priests with you; that's all you'll need; the more priests, the faster the kill, so do as you like; then just use Kael's Banish, followed by Mana Siphon; Magtheridon won't be able to attack you, but your priests will be able to attack him; just pop Banish once the other Banish ends and you keep him stunned forever

You know Kel' Thuzard's Necromancers? Spam them. Then when troops come in to sneak by, kill them, raise them, and then send them to attack the nearby villages. By the time it's Kel'thuzard's turn, you may have wiped out one or two villages.
