Easily the best volleyed goal I've ever seen - with Zidane's in the champions league final a close second imo. The power and accuracy Mendieta gets in the the shot is incredible!

If I'm not mistaken this goal was scored in the Quarterfinal of the Copa Del Rey in 1999. Do'nt know if it was the first leg or the second, and I don't know the exact date... Anyone Does?

He was a great player, the soul of Valencia CF. I hope that he still is, but... I really think it was a huge mistake to move to S.S. Lazio.
