The tune is actually called "Oke-She-Moke-She-Pop," and it works so well as a driving (and slightly risque) blues, in addition to having actually rather poignant lyrics reflecting the migration of so many African Americans from rural poverty to a potentially better life in urban America.

The last time Joe was in Rhode Island was at the original Lupo's with Roomful of Blues backing him up. I'm gonna see Roomful once again today.
