- Martha C. Piper, Former President, University of British Columbia, Canada
- Jean-Robert Pitte, President, University of Paris IV (Sorbonne), France
- YoonDae Euh, President, Korea University, Korea

*Description
Rapid social changes in the global economy and increased enrollment in universities have led to increased social demands for higher education, and this is an issue that universities are endeavoring to address with various self-developed measures.

OECDs Definitie en Selectie van Competenties (Definition and Selection of Competencies) Project indicates that the categorized competencies that enable people to lead successful lives coincide largely with the qualifications global enterprises seek in employees. This signifies that the focus of education is shifting from institutionalized course work to learner-oriented education that emphasizes the ability of individual learners.
