Nairobi General Assembly 2009 - Video daily bulletin no.1

Wednesday, 18 November marked the opening of the first-ever African-based meeting of the General Assembly of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

These meetings bring together more than 1,000 Red Cross Red Crescent leaders from around the world to discuss todays most pressing humanitarian concerns.

Today featured the launch of the Believe in Humanity survey, a welcome reception and an opening event.
