Jordan Schafer reaches base on error during an October 11 Arizona Fall League game between the Peoria Javelinas and the Peoria Saguaros. Schafer was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the third round of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft out of Winter Haven High School in Florida. nice level swing; solid contact. although technically, he could've been tagged out had the defense noticed he turned towards 2nd base, before returning safely to 1st. notice how attentive the umpire is, until Schaffer returns to the bag. amazing how fundamentals are overlooked/or not coached, prior to reaching this level. glad he's off to a great start in the young season. GO BRAVES '09!!!

He is the Braves future! He has played well the first 6 games. He is fast and should lead off and be centered around stealing bases.
