The Didjeribone was invented by Charlie Mc Mahon. A famous Australian didge player. He invented the first slide didge in the seventies.

my dad tim invented that slide didge about 1986-87, i have the original drawing my dad made, charlie got all ideas from my dad the original didji-man from darwin n.t my family started the didgeridoo wholesale market in a town called adelaide river in northern teritory australia.
