Itinerant musicians displaced from Colombia's Pacific coast because of the drug trade sing an engaging remix of the US national anthem. Werthein gave the group the lyrics to the song and instructions to create their own melody. The song is all but unrecognizable, but coupled with the singers' sad, self-conscious expressions, it forms the work's content. (paraphrased from Roberta Smith's review of June 26)

I watched this a handful of times on Governors Island... totally dig it. The song is so catchy it often pops into my head unexpectedly. Too bad there's not a full version of it online.
