I work as a hotel clerk in Barcelona. I like when I check in african-americans and they get surprised seeing a black man who speaks perfect spanish from Spain. We blacks all over the world should unite against the media who portrays us in a negative way in order to confuse us and make us hate ourselves and deny our self, like in the case of latinos, who want to say that they are latinos (which is not a race but a cultural term) than black (which is a race whose origin is in mother Africa...)

i love these videos, Im african american, my dad is from cameroon aised in france, and my mom is a mix of races but identifies as black/african american, and I have similar issues with those two sides. I also went to school in spanish harlem and didnt know much about the cultures there until i learned about it later on. this has given me even more info of peoples individual experiences. thanks :)

all spanis speaking tv is 95% white in the u.s even worse in those spanish speaking countries only show non white people when they show pverty and crime

Actually go to Spain that is a majority White Hispanic country. Go to Argentina that is another majority white country. If you go to Cuba, Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico they are not majority White hispanic countries. If you look at the history of the Atlantic slave trade and the Caribbean being a major hub and the importation of African slaves you realize why this is the case. As well as white hispanics leaving Cuba in large numbers.

We know that many coutries in the

Caribbean like Cuba, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic are majority black and mulatto

countries. These countries practiced a thing called hyper-descent where a black or mulatto

person could claim whitness if they could prove a white ancestor in the last 4 generations.

In the 2000 cenuss 80% of Puerto Ricans claime they were white. all you need is a bit

of common sense to figure out the numbers are skwed and not correct.

It is common sense.
