@gollapr The reason that they were so rare was because they didn't sell the actual arcade cabinets but just conversion kits to existing original Star wars arcade machines. They should have made standalones instead of forcing arcade owners to sacrifice an existing (and profitable) game.
A pizza place by my house had this when I was in high school way back in '92 and I remember breaking the million pt mark on it. I think that game took about an hour to play before I finally died. Thank God it was the sit down model. The shop owner offered me $400 for but I was too damn poor to afford that. I regret that decision everyday. Such a great game!!!
i lived in the arcades all through the 80s and NOBODY HAD THIS GAME! ever!! was it rare or something? I never saw it, never played it, and never knew of anyone that saw it or played it until now 25 years later...i dont understand..thank u for posting this

Very difficult coversion to find. I think there's a working sit-down cabinet at Universal Studios in Florida still.
